Blackwood Hydra 6.5mm-8.5mm Hellwing

Note:  This guitar pick features a Blackwood core with some parts exposed to help with grip.  It also features a soft relic appearance.  This wood was sourced from AllMartyr Guitars (Instagram.com/https://www.instagram.com/allmartyrguitars).

The Pick:
The Hellwing guitar pick is similar in size to our Falcon model however it features a slight “wing” to the side to maximise comfort.  The larger surface area on the guitar pick allows for a comfortable "anchor" point for the thumb or fingers (depending on your guitar pick grip style) - this allows for every type of technique to be comfortable.

The History:
The Hellwing was designed initially as an experiment in 2020 whilst working with an old Jaketto Pick's staff member "Smitty" -  Smitty has no previous musical experience but through discussions regarding what would be the perfect guitar pick; we settled on an idea to add the "wing" segment which as stated above allows for more surface area.

The Name:
The name "Hellwing" originates from it's brother pick - the Falcon (our first guitar pick model); adding a "wing" to the side was self explanatory however naming it "Hell" was due to the artistic flair of the first Hellwing guitar pick we produced.  It was red and black - a very fitting name!

The Hydra series is designed with wooden cores that bring grip and life to playing; also enhancing design features.
